Blooming Into First Enrichment Package

Rising first graders will have the opportunity to bloom brighter in first grade next year. Help your child come in more confident and ready by letting us help you plant the seeds of learning all summer long. Veteran first grade teacher, Jenni Briggs, will ensure that young learners are challenged and engaged with her expertise, energy, and nurturing spirit. The following foundational skills will be woven into their special summer time in a creative and hands on way:

Letter names & sounds
Fundation trick words & cvc words
Tap out letter sounds
Correct letter formation
Handwriting techniques
Oral counting to 100
Count on from any number
Basic addition & subtraction skills
Fluency and reading comprehension skills
Problem solving and critical thinking skills

This package includes an initial in person getting to know you time, where strengths and needs will be assessed. This will enable Just Think to create a summer scope and sequence uniquely fit for your child’s or the learning pod’s needs. Following this assessment we will carefully craft a portfolio that your child will bring home in between sessions. Optional extra practice and extension activities will be provided to assist parents at home to support continued growth. Additionally, you will have your teacher as a resource throughout the school year to ask questions as well as set up individual sessions on an as needed basis.

Select desired package at checkout and $200 of the total will be due. Remaining balance paid at first session.

Learning Pods provide an opportunity for customers to create a learning group with friends. The same skills will be taught, however, more opportunities will be presented for enhancement of collaboration, interpersonal , communication, and teamwork skills.
