Go Figure! Multiplication Basics Enrichment Package

The only way to help young math minds memorize critical basic facts is to practice, practice, practice. Why not help them get a leg up on memorization in a fun, playful, but beneficial atmosphere. During this time many different puzzles, games, riddles, etc. will be provided for kids to have hands on experience and fun with numbers. This time is guaranteed to build number sense and practice familiar strategies to help the basic multiplication facts stick. In addition, critical thinking and problem solving skills will be woven in weekly. They won’t even realize they are practicing their facts and challenging their brain!

Basic understanding of multiplication needed, but facts don’t have to be memorized. Tools will be provided to aid in participation if needed.

Learning Pods provide an opportunity for families to create a learning team with friends and classmates. The same skills will be explored, however, additional opportunities will be presented for enhancement of collaboration, interpersonal , communication, and teamwork skills.
