Junior Journalists Camp: Session 2

Get a taste of what it feels like to work for a newspaper. Sylvania Advantage is excited to collaborate with Just Think and CREATE to help inspire any junior journalists out there. Each student will assist in selecting a topic for an article to write for the newspaper. The class will work their way through the writing process and have their work edited by the Sylvania Advantage staff. They will also get a closer look behind the scenes to see what it takes to create a newspaper. Articles will be printed in the July 31st edition of the Sylvania Advantage. A “Print Party” will take place on print day Monday, July 31st. Young journalists will deliver the papers to downtown businesses and celebrate with doughnuts and juice. Come and join the fun!
